nice blog Maurizio! I love the fact that they are allowed to host some pets in the nursing home. the white cat reminds me of the guest cat here in our garden. Aubergine is also one of my FAVOURITE veggies! Ok... i am crazy about aubergines! i even make aubergine omelet and salad! and now, i am craving for it, :D
A couple of days ago I paid a visit to a cousin of mine living in a nursing home. We spent some time in one of the gardens. I had my camera with me and I couldn't resist to take some pics of the small orchards built to keep the house's guests occupied.
A small orchard, or some vases with herbs it one of the things I'd like to make someday. 
Here's my mother and my cousin Ernestina. She was my grand mother's cousin. She is now 89.
Aubergines! It's one of my favourite vegetables.
The nursing home hosts also some pets. Two chickens, some turtles and a cat. This one you see isn't the home cat.
